About The Artist
After graduating from Utah Valley University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication, I set out to find a way to stay connected to the western industry in a meaningful and lasting way. What began as a simple hobby quickly grew into a deep and enduring passion.
My work is rooted in years spent on the back of a horse, shaped by the grit and discipline it takes to raise and show animals, as well as the beauty and elegance required to represent the sport of rodeo as a rodeo queen. These experiences continue to guide my approach to leatherworking, inspiring me to create pieces that are as strong and reliable as the lifestyle they come from, while still reflecting the beauty found in the world around us.
I believe that true artistry lies not only in the finished product, but in the process of telling a story. Ultimately, my goal is to create pieces that are not only functional, but deeply personal. Objects that carry meaning, reflect a life well-lived, and become part of stories still being written.
